The day trip to Pompeii and Amalfi Coast starts at 7:30AM. You will meet your driver right at the hotel lobby, B&B or private apartment. A special day to visit one of the most evocative places in Italy. The Pompei scavi: the best-preserved oldest city in the world and one of the most famous and well-known archaeological sites.The luxurious resort for the Roman Empire, buried under the ash and lava erupted by Mount Vesuvius on August 24, 79 AD. We can book for you a private licensed tour guide (on request). Your private guide will help you to understand the wonders that have been buried for centuries and that recent excavations have brought to light.
When you arrive in Pompeii you can visit the ruins on your own or you can decide to have a guided tour (2hrs). The private guided tour (2hrs) is not included in the price. There is an extra charge of Eur 150,00 cash for the whole group to be paid directly to your guide for the private tour.
At the end of the Pompei tour you will head south on the beautiful cliff road called Amalfi Coast and reach Positano, a real vertical town located between the blue waters of the Mediterranean and the beautiful green slopes of the Monti Lattari. You will have time to go around this charming summer village and have lunch in a local restaurant. You can decide to visit Sorrento or Positano. Your choice can be communicated directly to your driver.
