Your ship has just docked at the port of Civitavecchia and you don’t want to waste your limited time waiting for the group bus but you want to get to Rome as soon as possible. Furthermore, you do not wish to share your experience with others but you are looking for a private and customizable tour to be able to see as many historical-artistic beauties of Rome as possible.
A fully private tour (we do not combine groups) with an English-speaking driver. You will have your own private driver at your complete disposal from the beginning (7:30 AM) to the end of your day (5:30 PM). You will move easily through the narrow alleys of the Eternal City. Your driver will take you as close as possible to the sites you will visit in order to minimize your walking distances.
The tour starts at 7:30AM. The driver will meet you right under the ship, holding a sign with your name. Our vehicles and our drivers are authorized by the Port Authority to pick you up right under the ship. You will not have to take a shuttle bus.
All the most important historical and artistic attractions of Rome are included in your tour. The Colosseum, St. Peter’s Square, Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Train Fountain, The Spanish Steps and much more. If it is not your first time in Rome you can ask your driver to customize your visit and change your itinerary according to your requests.
The lunch break will be from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. You can ask your driver to make a reservation at a local restaurant.
At the end of the tour, scheduled for 4:30 PM, the driver will take you back to the port of Civitavecchia. You will be at your ship at approximately 5:30 PM.
Our office can purchase entrance tickets to the Colosseum and Pantheon upon your request. Your driver will have your tickets. You will pay the tickets only cash directly to your tour guide at the end of the tour.
The cost of the Colosseum skip-the-line tickets is Eur 37.00 per person.
The cost of the Pantheon skip-the-line tickets is Eur 7.00 per person.
